I am running to restore representative democracy to the people of the Wasatch Back. For too long, the powers that be in the Utah State Capitol have ignored the interests of our community and as your representative I will fight for what is in our best interests. Instead of delivering for the Wasatch Back the current state legislature fights against us: they gave us a new Parley's gravel pit that nobody asked for and that nobody wants; they gave away Mayflower without any thought or consideration to Wasatch County; they want to make it harder for us to vote; and, they spend taxpayer money, our money, to fight initiatives passed by the people. We need representatives that listen to their constituents, because at the end of the day, that is what representative democracy is all about.
